Flamingo’s back en masse in Ol Tukai/Lake Manyara

Category: Uncategorized | Date: Apr 14 2008 | By: admin

We’ve got lots of flamingo back in Ol Tukai again, this is fantastic after the large die-offs of the last few years and the difficulty that they have had breeding in the same time period. While the discussion and planning still goes on about the developement of a Soda Collection plant in Lake Natron it is always good to know that other prime flamingo habitat is most likely to remain intact.

Hi Corbett! You are right, that´s really a good new. We at the Lake Natron Consultative Group are working hard to protect the lesser flamingos in the Natron area in Kenya and Tanzania, and your work in preserving the flamingos in your area is encouraging! Thank you very much for your outstanding work in Ol Tukai.
