Due to a lot of rainfall that received in early 2008(Not less than an average of 700mm per annum), along the Tarangire - Manyara ecosystem, had supported the growth of  pastures of many kinds. The perennial grasses, Herbs, Shrubs and large trees are among of the Natural vegetations which make the wildlife to remain constantly in the area( Ol Tukai) throughout the year.

Plenty of water nearby/ door to door, and security for wildlife to mention but few, became the factors noted to affect the presence of many species of Fauna and Flora. The soil type( clay, loam, sandy and black cotton), is proved to be fertile which enhances the growth of health of the ecosystem and habitats.
